SURFRIDER
The Oregon Chapter of Surfrider was trying to get a bill passed to ban plastic grocery bags. Instead of shocking people (like most do with PSAs) I appealed to their intellect and it worked. People internalized the effects of their favorite meal ingesting plastic and voted the bill in.
The ad was the most posted PSA piece on Pinterest in the organization's history.

When you're a restaurant founded by a naturopathic physician, you can't make your food look good with any additives. So we didn't even try. Instead, this campaign turned in the face all the fad diets and plastic surgery procedures to present a better, more honest option: Healthy food with a candid personality. Tag Line: Tasty Food With Nothing to Hide.
